During the process of financial planning, it is not wise to imagine that we are superior, and know everything because we can make wrong decisions. Therefore, we should not be fooled by our own judgment when it comes to financial planning. There is a need to seek advice from other experts on the implications of financial decisions before making any investments.

I have used this verse because it depicts seeking advice from other people other than God. For instance, Jeremiah was a prophet, and Zedekiah was the king of Judah; hence they were not relatives.

As a result, they end up making poor investment decisions and affect their lives.
